  4. It's easy! Download the app, create your account, and browse through our list of talented artists. Select the one that suits your style, choose a date and time, and proceed with the booking.

  5. Can I view the portfolios of the artists before booking?
  6. Absolutely! Each artist on our platform has a detailed profile showcasing their skills, previous work, and customer reviews. We believe in transparency to help you make the best choice for your beauty needs.

  7. Is there a fee to use GlamMe?
  8. Downloading and using the app is free! You only pay for the services you book. The pricing details are clearly displayed during the booking process.

  9. How do I make payments for the services?
  10. We offer secure in-app payment options. You can pay conveniently using credit/debit cards or other available methods. Rest assured, all transactions are processed securely.

  11. What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
  12. Life happens, and we understand. You can manage your bookings within the app. Check the artist's cancellation policy during booking for details. Rescheduling options are also available.

  13. Can I request a specific hairstyle or makeup look?
  14. Absolutely! Communicate your preferences during the booking process. Share any specific looks or styles you have in mind, and our artists will work to bring your vision to life.

  19. How to Apply a Promo to Your Booking
  20. To use a promotional offer, navigate to the Promos tab and select Claim on the promo you'd like to use. When completing your booking form, you’ll see a link allowing you to apply the claimed promo directly to your booking. If you have received a unique, individual promo code, simply enter the code into the designated field during the booking process.

  21. Are the artists checked for quality and professionalism?
  22. Absolutely. We rigorously check all artists to ensure they meet our standards for professionalism and skill. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we strive for the highest quality service.

  23. What safety measures are in place, especially in the current environment?
  24. Safety is vital. We verify our service providers before when they register so we can assure you that the correct person is being advertised on our platform.

  25. How can I become an artist on GlamMe?
  26. If you're a talented hair and makeup artist interested in joining our platform, please register using the form on the front page of the application. You will need to provide details of your services.

  27. Booking Fees/Deposit Schedule (For Artists Only)
  28. Deposits and booking fees are processed and released via Stripe on a daily basis. In most cases, funds will be credited to your bank account the same day they are received. However, please note that some banks may require an additional 2–3 business days to process and post these funds. Additionally, payouts scheduled on weekends or bank holidays will be processed by your bank on the next working day. If you have not received your payout within five business days from the date it was processed, we recommend contacting your bank directly. Be sure to provide them with the payout amount and the date it was issued.

  29. Identity Verification (For Artists)
  30. We require personal identification, a supporting document, and a live photo with facial recognition for verification purposes. This security measure helps protect all Glam Me users. As you will be visiting clients at their private residences and collecting deposit payments at the time of booking, it is essential that we verify your identity to ensure legitimacy and safety for all parties involved.

  31. Availability Management (For Artists)
  32. The availability you set on your profile is visible to customers in real time. Clients will submit booking requests based on the dates and times you’ve indicated as available. However, you retain full control over your schedule—you may accept, decline, or suggest alternative dates or times as needed. We understand that circumstances can change, so it’s important that you actively manage your calendar. If you choose to make yourself available every day and across all time slots, you still maintain the ability to review and respond to each booking request accordingly.

  33. Showcasing Your Work (For Artists)
  34. To promote your services and attract more bookings, you can upload photos and videos of your work directly to your profile. Simply click the plus (+) icon located in the top right-hand corner of your profile page to begin uploading. Additionally, you have the option to link your Instagram and TikTok accounts, allowing clients to view your existing portfolio and social media presence. This feature is designed to help you highlight your skills and build trust with potential clients.

  35. Promotional Offers (For Artists)
  36. As an artist, you have full control over creating and managing promotional offers. You can choose to offer discounts to specific clients by providing them with a unique promo code, or create a general promotion available to all Glam Me users, which they can apply automatically during the booking process. You also have the flexibility to define the type of promotion, set usage limits, and activate or deactivate offers at any time. This feature allows you to tailor promotions to your business needs and increase bookings effectively.

  37. Payment Schedule for Customers/Artists
  38. When you make a booking, the full payment is collected upfront. The deposit portion is immediately released to the artist to secure your appointment. The remaining balance is held securely and will only be released to the artist once you have confirmed that the service has been completed.

    The artist will mark the booking as “Started” upon arrival and will update it to “Completed” once the service is finished. You will then be prompted to confirm completion of the booking. Once confirmed, the remaining balance will be automatically released to the artist. All payment transactions are handled securely in the background.

  39. Notifications and Messaging
  40. You have full control over your notification settings and can choose to turn notifications on or off at any time.

    Instant messaging is available for real-time communication; however, this feature depends on the artist’s preferences. Artists have the option to enable or disable instant messaging at their discretion.
